What this document covers

This lists every cookie and local-storage entry Live-cart creates — both in the seller dashboard and on the shop page a buyer opens. The inventory was compiled from the service’s source code, not from a template.

For what personal data we process and on what legal basis, see the Privacy Policy.

Cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser and receives back on the next request. localStorage and sessionStorage are also browser stores, but they are not sent to a server on their own — the page reads them locally. We describe all three together because from your side they are the same thing: data left on your device.

Whether we need your consent

Ukrainian law has no cookie-specific rules. Cookies fall under the Personal Data Protection Act only where the data behind them can identify a person.

On this site (live-cart.com) we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and what interests them. Those are third-party analytics cookies, set by Google.

We set no third-party advertising trackers.

We show no advertising on the site itself and pass no name, email or phone number to ad networks. These trackers are not installed at all in the seller dashboard or on shop pages.

Storage in the seller dashboard

Created on app.live-cart.com and relating only to you as a user of the service.

NameTypeCategorySet byRetentionPurpose
lc_sessioncookieStrictly necessaryLive-cart30 daysKeeps you signed in. Holds a random session token; only its hash is stored on our server. The dashboard cannot work without it.
lc_localecookieFunctionalLive-cart1 yearRemembers the dashboard interface language (Ukrainian or English).
lc_themecookieFunctionalLive-cart1 yearRemembers your dashboard colour theme (light, dark or follow the system).
lc_plan_promptcookieFunctionalLive-cart1 yearRemembers that you chose "Skip for now" on the plan-selection step, so it is not shown on every visit.
lc.sidebar.collapsedlocalStorageFunctionalLive-cartuntil site data is clearedRemembers whether the dashboard sidebar is collapsed or expanded.
lc.*.selectionsessionStorageFunctionalLive-cartuntil the tab closesKeeps your ticked rows in the product and order lists so a selection survives paging through them.

Storage on a shop page

Created on a seller’s shop page (shopname.live-cart.com) when a buyer opens it. The cart and the order key are what make buying work at all.

NameTypeCategorySet byRetentionPurpose
lc.cartlocalStorageStrictly necessaryLive-cartuntil site data is clearedThe buyer's cart on a shop page: which items were added, their quantity and price. Contains no personal data.
lc.idemlocalStorageStrictly necessaryLive-cartuntil site data is clearedA random key that prevents a duplicate order if the page reloads during payment.
lc.sidlocalStorageAnalyticsLive-cartuntil site data is clearedA random visit identifier. It gives the seller anonymous statistics for their own page: how many people are looking now, and which app they arrived from.

The visit identifier lc.sid is a random string, not linked to a name, phone number or email address. Alongside it we record which app the page was opened from (for example TikTok or Instagram) and the device type. Visit records are kept for 400 days.

Google Analytics

The marketing pages report anonymous visit statistics to Google Analytics 4, property G-JMYY4CHVQZ.

What goes there:

  • the address of the page you opened, and the page you came from;
  • approximate city, browser language, device type;
  • clicks on the “Get started” and “Log in” buttons, so we can see which calls to action work.

We do not send Google your name, email or phone number. The seller dashboard and shop pages do not appear in these statistics at all.

_ga_JMYY4CHVQZcookieAnalyticsGoogle2 yearsGoogle Analytics: keeps browsing-session state for this site.
_gcl_aucookieAdvertisingGoogle90 daysGoogle Ads: records that a visitor arrived from an ad, so we can see which campaigns work. Appears only once Google Ads is connected.

How Google processes this data is described in “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”.

Third-party services

When a buyer proceeds to pay by card, they are taken to the payment provider the seller connected (for example plata by mono or LiqPay). Those pages are not ours — the provider sets its own cookies there under its own policy, and we have no access to them.

Our fonts are served from our own servers rather than a third-party CDN, so opening our pages creates no requests to other companies.

How to manage it

Every browser lets you inspect and delete stored site data, usually under Settings → Privacy. Note that deleting lc_session simply signs you out, and deleting lc.cart empties the cart.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s official browser add-on or by blocking third-party storage in your browser settings. Strictly necessary storage cannot be disabled — the service will not work without it.

Changes to this policy

The date at the top of this page is when the text last changed. If we introduce a new category of storage — in particular third-party analytics or advertising services — we will update the table above before it starts operating.
